Carlisle Kent is a Master of Library and Information Studies student at Dalhousie University. Originally from British Columbia, she pursued her undergraduate studies in the Liberal Arts in Toronto and Bordeaux, France. She is very interested in understanding information-seeking behaviours of groups and in interdisciplinary collaboration. Carlisle is very excited to be participating in APLA’s Ignite Talks this year and to learn about the work other librarians are doing in the field. When not presenting at conferences and pursuing her studies, Carlisle enjoys travelling and, like all good librarians, a good book.
